Creating the world’s first sustainable highway

Is a ‘green highway’ possible?

Is a ‘green highway’ possible? Innovia is helping the Mission Zero Corridor Project in West Georgia to create just that: a ‘travel corridor’ that generates social, environmental and economic value.

Innovia will evaluate technologies (e.g. algae biodiesel gas stations; smart solar-powered roads; moon-cycle adjusting lights; driverless cars; electric-car charging lanes), creatively explore new technologies for viability and scalability, and attract the engagement of key stakeholders to turn this vision into reality.

The result will be a fitting legacy for the late Ray C. Anderson, “the greenest CEO” and founder of Interface Inc., the largest global modular carpet manufacturer.
