Consultants (graduates or mid-career), interns, and short-term placements will need to show:
Technical ability: a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of their discipline, and the ability to apply them to unfamiliar problems, as evidenced by an exceptional academic track record. Wide curiosity and interest and the ability to quickly learn about new areas of technology are also vital.
Problem solving: the ability to think in a clear and structured manner about complex topics, and take a creative approach to exploring new solutions. Consultants must be comfortable with the level of ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in front-end innovation (the very beginning of new things).
Client-facing skills: interest in the work of our clients, commitment to understanding their needs and desire to give them the best recommendations. This is enabled by excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Consultants are expected to be able and willing to travel internationally.
Team skills: the ability to engage well with a team, and contribute to complex technical discussions. Consultants will take responsibility for their own work and time, and need to be proactive, show attention to detail, and work to deadlines.
