Building a shared vision of automation
An oil major faced production short-falls from a Middle East operating unit. It wished to deploy advanced instrumentation to transform the efficiency and safety of oil production. Innovia was asked to design and run a watershed workshop to build a shared vision for change and to identify key enablers.
Before the workshop we interviewed internal stakeholders to align expectations. We brought in external participants to demonstrate successful methods adopted by other industries, and developed stimulus materials for the three-day event.
70 participants, including members of the board and major shareholders, attended the workshop. As a direct outcome, the board was able to define its strategy for automation.
