Our client, a leading consumer goods company, felt that microfluidics and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) could create a completely new product category and an attractive new business opportunity. Innovia’s brief: to set the direction for a long-term MEMS development programme; to map out credible product offerings with clear customer benefits dovetailed to both brand and market.


We explored credible benefit propositions, the biomedical science underlying them, and the technologies that would enable delivery.


We created several product concepts for customer trials, and provided a flexible development road map based on likely scenarios for progress in MEMS technologies.
