Context

Like many other world-leading companies, our client recognised the strategic significance of emerging market consumers. Innovia was asked for new ideas for consumer-relevant products that meet the demanding price criteria of these markets.

Approach

The cost challenge inspired us to bring together disparate technologies from diverse industries to invent a radical new manufacturing process that offers novel emotional and functional benefits to consumers, as well as cost savings. However, it is equally challenging to reach the right consumers and understand their needs and mindsets. Using our unique holistic approach, we were able to help with both of these aspects, delivering a consumer segmentation model along with an outline portfolio of product platforms and a strategy for market entry.
